Project Description

The campus is situated in the Royal Borough of Greenwich in the southeast of London. It is 14 kilometres from the centre of London. Our London Greenwich Campus is close to many world-famous places of interest which include the National Maritime Museum, and the Greenwich Royal Observatory. By taking the free University shuttle bus to Greenwich central, you can visit the Cutty Sark, one of the world’s most famous tea ships, and Greenwich Pier. From there, you can catch a boat along the River Thames to the Shard in Central London.

The center is located at the University of Greenwich’s Avery Hill Campus. It is a secure university setting built around two Victorian buildings on the University’s Avery Hill Mansion and Southwood Sites. Both of these buildings are in the 86-acre Avery Hill Park in Eltham. They provide excellent teaching, living and sporting facilities. The classrooms and cafeteria are 10 minutes walk away from the accommodation buildings. The campus is a bus ride away from Greenwich town centre and it is easy to get there by public transport or the free University shuttle bus. Near the campus there are plenty of restaurants, cinemas, a 28-lane bowling alley, and the historic Eltham Palace.
